A GLOBAL CAMPAIGN TAKES SEED IN SEATTLE & INSPIRES CORPORATE VOLUNTEERISM
SEATTLE, WA: The Production Network (TPN) [tpnevents.com], the Seattle based experience marketing company, is proud to announce its producing partnership with the unprecedented Seeds of Compassion [seedsofcompassion.org] gathering in Seattle April 11-15, 2008.
The five-day event will bring the science and tools of compassion, highlighted by the teachings of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, to an
estimated audience of 153,000 children and adults.
Led by the desire to contribute to the betterment of children’s lives everywhere; TPN has been an integral part of planning and donated over a quarter-million dollars in management hours. TPN and Seeds of Compassion staff and volunteers overflow the offices and conference rooms at the TPN building, feverishly working out the logistics. When asked why he would undertake such a commitment, John Vadino, TPN President and CEO, had this to say;
“The best way for me to fulfill my responsibility as a father, CEO and steward to our global community is by example. What better example than through a personal and professional commitment to Seeds of Compassion?” said John “We are so honored at the invitation to produce these events.”
The staff at TPN recognize and value that their efforts are part of a greater whole. The seed that has been planted though this example of active corporate volunteerism has confirmed the beliefs held strong in the conscious of and expressed clearly in the TPN culture.
“Compassion is contagious. We firmly believe in the events ability to spark a movement. One small child who turns fear to hope or shows only one act of compassion could be the catalyst to change the world.”
