By now, everyone in or skirting around the marketing and/or retail industry has heard of the Pop Up Shop. But in case you never get out –here’s a brief from trend watching:

We love them. They are different, fresh, there & then gone. They never get stale. They “pop-up” on you when you are just walking down the street. While these temporary store fronts have become expected – Levi’s created the unexpected with their pop-up closet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56GM49yHCYY It would be fun to make these with handles for traveling, or in different sizes – large butt jeans require ample space. The possibilities are endless. Mine will be pink (can’t believe I’m admitting that), the Levi’s will be vintage; the bottom drawer will be for equally pink converse…there will be no video posted (see butt comment above).
13K views and counting….I think Levi’s can consider this cardboard meets creativity investment a success!
And while I’m feeling the love for Levi’s – I have to ask – is there anyone out there who does not appreciate this ad? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAXpJSvW5mA My whole family was ready to adorn our Levi’s and get outside – ready to Go Forth – and all that entails. This summer…cross country trip…I’m inspired…post baby Levi’s back on those hips. Oh yes. We will video tape and we will post. It will be a rather comedic family version with no resemblance to the original - but it will be real.
