With the current state of the economy, we TPNers take comfort in each other, getting together for artist receptions, our own version of Top Chef, baby showers, holiday parties, etc. You name it, we celebrate it. As cliché as it sounds, we actually do really like each other. And that community makes this economic time a little less scary.
We’re a bit like family. We have our differences; our eccentrics, our passionates, our jokers, etc. But put those all together and that combination makes up what one brilliant TPNer lovingly refers to as “the greener grass”. All those personalities make up the culture that we love so much. TPN is the greener grass and our internal events are a big part of that. We work hard, but we play hard too. In fact, just today someone suggested for our next Top Chef that we do a “Recession” theme, see what you can make for $20, have quickfire challenges. Spam anyone?

I love Span! I think it’s one of the three major food groups – butter, salt, and Spam!
Ah, that first one should be Spam. Span hasn’t been invented yet.
a chance to share my recipe for turkey neck soup and dumplings – yummy!
Where’s the recipe?! Will you post it?
“Where’s the recipe?”
I second that.
So many turkey necks, so few decent dumplings…
I just picked up this article from BrandAge/Ad week on where consumers are cutting back, I thought it would be an interesting read for we frugal TPN’ers. http://adage.com/article?article_id=134685
