Microsoft Convergence returned to Atlanta in 2015, and as a cost saving measure, a majority of the scenery was reused. However, in an effort to improve the viewing of content to those seated down low (who otherwise mind end up with a neck ache from looking up and the overhead screens), additional side LED screens were added to do just that. It also had the additional benefit of creating a shorter path for the presenters to enter and exit the stage, as in the previous year, that entrance was quite a bit further upstage.
