Microsoft MGX FY2012
After a three-year run in Atlanta, Microsoft decided to hold their annual sales meeting in Denver at the Pepsi Center. In previous years, the event had been held in a “landscape” orientation in the venue, which also had the benefit of feeling a bit more intimate. However, to reach the client’s desired seating number, required that the layout be in a “portrait” fashion. To achieve a more intimate feeling for those in the “back of the house,” a thrust stage was employed that allowed the presenters to connect with the audience by using the thrust. While considerable challenges are raised when using this type of layout, TPN and their extended vendor partners were able to overcome them for a successful show.
