As we reach the end of 2024, it’s exciting to look back on what was an incredible year filled with growth, innovation, and standout projects that engaged audiences, wowed participants, and inspired us. From experiential design to cutting-edge technology, here are some of the highlights that made this year unforgettable at TPN.

Highlight #1: A Keynote to Remember

The L’Oréal keynote at CES 2024 was a standout moment. TPN collaborated with the iconic cosmetics brand on the design, then brought the vision to life by producing a breathtaking keynote that captured the innovative essence of CES. The reactions in the room made it clear the team had perfected every detail. From the intricate laser lighting to the seamless visual storytelling, the experience was truly immersive. Partnering with a brand of L’Oréal's caliber, with its storied history, and seeing them shine on a global tech stage was an absolute thrill.

CES also marked TPN’s debut as the full broadcast management team, orchestrating live and pre-recorded content across multiple channels

Highlight #2: Elevating Creativity Through Experiential Design

This was the year our creative services team truly showed they mean business. At TPN, we’ve excelled at production for decades, but 2024 saw us getting involved earlier in the design process, enabling us to help shape the event from start to finish. Two standout projects—Brooks and the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Launch Event for Microsoft Xbox—demonstrated the power of this approach.

For the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 launch, we transformed a southwestern hotel into a breathtaking extension of the game itself. From wall wraps and window clings to ceiling-to-floor branding, we utilized the game’s stunning imagery to immerse attendees in the experience. The result was a visually cohesive, awe-inspiring environment that told a story from the moment attendees walked in.

Similarly, for Brooks, we leaned into experiential design to create a meeting that not only informed but also inspired. This was one of the first times TPN’s creative team stepped into the strategy phase, offering a holistic design approach. From environmental graphics to overall attendee experience design, these projects underscored our ability to deliver at every stage to create seamless, impactful events.

Highlight #3: From Render to Reality

One of the most exciting advancements this year was our work in virtual design, exemplified by our project with Hyzon. Using Web3 and digital twin technology, we created an exact virtual replica of their event booth, allowing the client to "walk through" the space before any physical buildout began. This capability not only provided a hyper-realistic preview but also allowed us to refine every detail - from graphics to layout – before a single nail was hammered.

Not only does this approach excite us from a technology perspective, it showcases TPN’s commitment to sustainability as well. This approach saves time, money, and environmental resources. By identifying and solving potential issues in the virtual phase, we reduce waste, avoid costly redesigns and reduces the need for onsite walkthrough travel.

Seeing a client’s excitement as they experience their booth in the virtual space for the first time is a reminder of how technology is revolutionizing our industry. Additionally, this project marked the first time TPN designed and executed truck wraps for Hyzon.

Highlight #4: Amplifying Digital Services at Events

Our digital services were front and center this year, with Databricks providing a perfect example of their impact. At their 2024 Data + AI Summit, we recorded, edited, and published content for over 450 sessions within 24 hours of delivery. In addition, we provided live in-room captioning in 33 session rooms, ensuring accessibility for all attendees.

Databricks also embraced our overflow services, livestreaming the top five sessions of each timeblock into an overflow space. The flexibility of our approach showcased our ability to adapt in real time to provide attendees access to the most popular sessions. This project also exemplified our comprehensive digital services that seamlessly integrated content capture, media production, livestreaming, in-room captioning, and overflow services.

With 2025 nearly upon us, we’re so excited to build on the momentum from 2024. From strategy and design to production and technology, the entire TPN team can’t wait to imagine, design and produce breakthrough events, content and activations in 2025!
