What is The Databricks Data + AI Summit?
This conference brings together data professionals – including data scientists, engineers, and business leaders – to discuss the latest trends, innovations and best practices in data and artificial intelligence (AI). This year’s event saw 16,000 people attend in person, and an additional 60,000 individuals joined online to watch the sessions. This year’s event was the biggest they have held since before the pandemic.
Why did they engage TPN?
The Databricks Data + AI Summit in 2024 was slated to be 50% larger than 2023, and they needed a trusted partner who could manage the entire CCMD (Content Capture, Media Production, and Distribution) workflow to capture, post-produce and publish the session files more efficiently, more professionally and turn everything around much more quickly for their online audience.

What did TPN do for them?
TPN captured, edited, and posted nearly 500 sessions (467). The capture took place across 33 breakout rooms. All sessions were edited and ready for publishing approval within 24 hours of the session taking place. TPN also the backend technology to route various breakout sessions to an overflow viewing area with 5 different channels of live breakout sessions. Finally, TPN provided over 20,000 hours of live AI in-room captioning for keynotes and breakout sessions.
